In which a bunch of authors & editors are invited to answer the question: How do you deal with creative exhaustion?
Jenny Lawson writes one of the most energetic blogs online. Here she explains how to protect that energy in a few easy steps.
Whenever I feel creatively tapped-out I allow myself to walk away until I’m re-inspired. I read, watch zombie movies, and find things that I think will help me relax so I can find the spark again. I’m also a big fan of the song “Die, Vampire, Die”, which I listen to over and over when I’m feeling like a creative loser.
